Abacide 2 is a closed-system product. This product contains 2% abamectin, a xylem/phloem mobile insecticide for use on forest, woodland, Christmas, seed cone nurseries/orchards, and ornamental trees.
Abacide 2 is safe for use in residential or public areas as needed. This product will provide superior management options for difficult-to-control phloem-feeding insects with a single application.
Application:
Late Summer or Fall - This will provide excellent control of conifer bark beetles in the following spring.
Standard Injection Spacing is every 6 inches on the circumference with the exception of narrow-leaved evergreen trees such as pine, spruce, larch, or hemlock; the spacing should decrease to every 4 inches on the circumference for those trees. This will facilitate better distribution.
Apply to commercial or residential landscapes, interior and exterior plantscapes, and other areas where ornamental trees and woody shrubs are present.
